General hospital visiting hours:
Monday to Sunday: 14.00-15.00 and 18.30-19.45.
Exceptions: The pediatric ward, the maternity ward, the intensive care/coronary care and the stroke units have different visiting hours.
The Pediatric ward:
Parents are welcome at all times and we encourage rooming in.
Other visitors are welcome throughout the day with the approval of a doctor/nurse

Maximum amount of visitors:
Only two visitors are permitted at a time in order to ensure rest for our patients.
Patients, who are not confined to their beds, are permitted to meet their visitors in the main entrance hall. Family members can make a request to visit patients outside of the general visiting times, after consulting with a doctor or nurse.
Parking is available for patients and visitors in the parking garage beside the hospital. It is also possible to make use of our valet parking service. You can leave the car at the main entrance and your car will be parked by experienced drivers. The cost for the valet service is € 5.50 (including parking fees) per day.
The first 15-30 minutes: € 1,00, there after € 0,80 per half hour
Maximum daily rate: € 5,50 (charge for loss of a parking ticket is € 5,50)
Parking under 15 minutes is free of charge.
Valet parking service: 5,50 (including parking fees) per day.
Rates apply 24/7.
Visitors with an accessible parking permit can park in the spaces reserved for the disabled in the parking garage (on the main floor, paid parking). There are wheelchairs available for visitor use at the main entrance of St Jansdal as well as in the parking garage

It is possible to send a patient mail. Mail will be delivered to the ward, where it will be delivered by the secretary or a member of the nursing staff to the patient.

The Emergency Department (ED) is open 24 hours a day to all patients (both adults and children) requiring emergency care/treatment. You do not need a referral from another doctor in the case of an emergency.
Your family physician can also refer you to the ED for further treatment or for admission to the hospital.
